What I'm Wearing--3/31/1O

Hello everyone(: Wow, what a great spring day today! Low 7os && a nice cool breeze. For celebration purposes, I pulled on a great, simple denim dress. Some brown, gladiator sandals, a chunky necklace I picked up at DisneyWorld (mickey mouse beads && all!), and a throw-everything-in-it brown twill duffle. I just read my first ELLE, && sad to say, I wasn't pleased. Nothing in that mag was even close to my price-range! I think i'll stick with In-Style && Teen Vogue(: {can never go wrong there-right?} I might put some pictures of my outfit up soon~ we'll see! Ta ta for now readers!

Hello fellow fashion-lovers! I've decided to blog today about an outfit I've worn, to get your opinons on it (: Here's a picture;;

* Creme-metallic cotton tunic with pleating at the neckline ~ from the Gap


* Basic white cami {its a little see-thru;;not good in 8th grade!} ~ Aeropostale


* Cross cluster necklace in muted silver ~ American Eagle Outfitters


* Silver anchor abstinence ring ~ AEO {american eagle outfitters}

* Ripped, light wash, skinny jeans with muted gold studded pocket embellishments ~ AEO [their jeans fit me amazingly! I have bigger hips-but skinnier legs--l o n g  legs--so they fit great!}


* Light brown, leather, scrunched boots ~ Ross
A great find! Only $20 dollars && they're great quality(: You probably think I'm crazy wearing 2 1/2 inch heels when I'm already 5'7''--but hey! I'm a confident little 8th grader(;...but i have to admit, its super awkward when you're half a foot taller than most guys in your grade(;

This is a set I made on www.polyvore.com. This is my version of a 'Tough Chic' look. I have a lot of girlie florals && prints, so I wanted to experiment with different ways to give them more edge. Leather jackets, studded accessories, && heeled combat boots are my favorite choices for a simple 'edgy' fix. I've been searching sales racks && Forever 21 for a cheap, cute, non-goth-like, brown leather jacket. So far, I've found nothing, but I want to keep looking! A leather jacket is a great staple for a wardrobe, its so versatile(: I'll post pictures of my outfit I wore today later on tonight. But what do you think of this look? How do you interpret 'Tough Chic'?
